Kristina Schaeffer
Krissy Schaeffer began her journey with dogs in 2001 when she got her first German Shepherd. Since then, she has dedicated herself to everything she can about dog training, working under various instructors along the way. She is actively involved in rescue groups by fostering dogs and is a proud member of Berks County Dog Training Club.
Krissy's experience includes managing playgroups at a private dog park, where she has the pleasure of observing the dynamics of canine interaction. In 2003, she met Megan Esherick and began taking classes with her when she launched The Clever Hound, LLC in 2016. Her training philosophy centers around fostering the bond between humans their canine companions through positive reinforcement methods.
Currently, she competes in Obedience, Agility, and Scentwork, and also serves as an approved AKC Canine Good Citizen tester. At home, she shares her life with a lovable Rottweiler/Standard Poodle mix named Odin and a delightful Lab/Basset/Spaniel mix named Hudson. She is looking forward to helping you and your dog thrive together!
